EVENT: VI International Conference on Risks’ in Space Sector on 18 April 2024 in Poland

Space Entrepreneurship Institute, Kozminski University and Polish Space Agency organise a conference on the topic of "Standards and best practises as a tool for risk prevention in the space sector", divided into two sessions: "Space Programme Management from Administrative and Business Perspective. How to define a favourable industrial policy for space? " and "The role of standards and good practises in space law".

Risk management is a widely recognized process applied to effectively oversee space activities in a manner that is both reliable and predictive. The establishment and ongoing development of standards and best practices play a pivotal role in supporting the risk management process, serving to mitigate the materialization of risks. These standards and practices necessitate a strong alignment with strategic management and space law frameworks. The primary aim of the forthcoming conference is to elucidate and deliberate upon such standards and best practices from strategic, managerial, and legal perspectives. This thematic focus has been selected with the intent of fostering awareness among entrepreneurs, particularly those engaged in the burgeoning NewSpace sector, as well as public administration and other stakeholders within the space industry, including investors and financing institutions.
